Community Guidelines
Tideflock Community is a place for people on GLP-1 medications to share what they’re going through and help each other along. These guidelines keep it safe and friendly. By posting here, you agree to follow them.
1. Be kind
Everyone here is somewhere different in their journey. Disagree with ideas, not people. No insults, name-calling, harassment or pile-ons.
2. No shaming of bodies or medication choices
Don’t comment negatively on anyone’s body, weight, food, or reasons for taking a medication. Brand name, compounded, insurance, cash pay, high dose, low dose, starting, stopping: these are personal decisions made with a prescriber. Respect them.
3. This is not medical advice
Members share personal experiences, not professional guidance. Nothing posted here, including by moderators, replaces advice from your prescriber or pharmacist. If you have questions about your dose, side effects, or whether a medication is right for you, talk to your prescriber. If you think you’re having a medical emergency, contact emergency services right away.
4. No sourcing or selling medications
Do not buy, sell, trade, give away, or ask where to get medications, compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide, research peptides, or any other prescription product. This includes naming vendors, sharing links, or offering to connect people privately. Posts like this will be removed and may lead to a ban.
5. Share experience, not dosing instructions
It’s fine to say “my prescriber moved me up after four weeks” or “I found the first week at a new dose hardest.” It’s not fine to tell others what dose to take, how to change their schedule, or how to mix or measure medication. Point people back to their prescriber instead.
6. Protect your privacy and others’
- Use a nickname rather than your full name.
- Don’t post your address, phone number, prescription labels, or medical records.
- Never post someone else’s personal information, photos, or private messages without their permission.
- Progress photos are your choice. Only share photos of yourself.
7. No spam or affiliate links
No advertising, self-promotion, referral codes, affiliate links, or repeated off-topic posts. Don’t promote supplements, programs, or telehealth services. If you’re unsure whether something counts, ask a moderator first.
8. How to report a problem
If you see a post that breaks these guidelines, use the Report button on the post. Please don’t argue with the poster in the thread. For anything urgent or private, email support@tideflock.app. Reports are confidential.
9. What moderators may do
Moderators keep the flock safe. Depending on what happened, they may:
- Edit a post to remove personal information or links
- Move a topic to a better-fitting forum
- Remove posts or close topics
- Send a private warning
- Temporarily suspend or permanently ban an account
Serious issues, such as selling medication or harassment, may lead to an immediate ban without a warning first. Moderators use their judgment, and these guidelines may be updated as the community grows.
